Do you need to conduct a survey, or compare and contrast several groups who have maybe undergone specialised training, or exposure to something? Do you need to establish whether there is a relationship between something happening in the environment and something that is happening in society? Do you need to find out what possible impact a new policy could or would have in society?
These are all questions that require some sort of behavioural research model applied to even partially answer the questions.
